Smiley Kate

My beautiful little girl, I love her smiles!

Ryker Shoe Shopping

We went shopping for some shoes for Ryker, and...well let's just say he likes the color pink. He wouldn't take these shoes off, unless it was to try on another shoe of his choice. His other "choices" were another pair of pink shoes, and another pair of pretty white Sunday dress shoes that would look great with a matching dress! He cried when we made him leave the store without these pink "Dora the Explorer" shoes. Guess we need to go out and buy him some "man"ly things...basketball hoops, teeball set, etc. :)

Updates

Well, its time for another family update I suppose. Its been an eventful couple of weeks at our house! I'll name a few. Our little Kate is growing so fast, she rolled over her first two times a day before her 6 week birthday, and has rolled over six times all together. She is now 8 weeks old-and still not sleeping through the night I might add. Every once in awhile she will go about 7 hours without eating, but she is never sleeping all those 7 hours, nor am I. We'll keep working on it. :) Ryker, my dear dear little Ryker...has been a MENACE!!! He did so great with having Kate around all this time, then about a week and a half ago he started getting jealous. Everyday feels like one temper tantrum after another, you wouldn't believe it. Its exhausting, but we are trying to work through it. He has also been playing in the toilets lately...enough said. But we still love him and will keep him around for at least a little bit longer. Russ and I had my parents babysit the kids for Russ' birthday on the 8th. We went to eat at Ruby River (sooo delicious) and then went and saw I Am Legend. It was fun to go out on a date and have a break from the kids. Russell got nose/sinus surgery earlier this week and we have been nursing him back to health these past couple days. His sinuses were badly plugged up and he only had a 20% airway in one of his nostrils, and 0% in the other. He also had a deviated septum that they straightened. So he got a lot done, but in a few weeks he should be feeling great and breathing through his nose for the first time that he can remember. As for me, nothing new, just busy taking care of the family! Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day today!
