So, the whole PBA controversy started back when Ryker was still on the bottle. As of today, bottle makers, sippy cup makers, etc, are now marketing their items as "PBA-Free". Well, half of the scientists claimed there was absolutely no harm to babies that used items with PBA in them. Others claim it can cause all sorts of BAD things. Well, the bad won over the good I guess since they are making bottles PBA free now. Well, when Kate was born, I kept using my non-pba bottles, because lets face it, these probably cost me well over 100 dollars! And, half the scientists said it was ok...but everytime I gave Kate a bottle, I felt guilty. When she was like 5 months old I told Russ this would be the last kid we use these bottles on. I would have bought new ones then, altho I thought Russ might not like me spending all that money on something we already had..and Kate was already fed with them for that long and was half way done with the bottle..etc etc..Well, Kate has been off the bottle for a good 4 months now...and I still have not thrown these away!! I don't know why. I think just the thought that they were so much money, and I will have to spend all that money again...eek. And half the bottles are ones that came with my pump, so I will have to special order them...:( But why am I hestitant when every time I fed Kate with one, I felt guilty, shouldn't I be chucking them and loving every minute of it? Hmm..

Sleepy Bug
My dear little Ryker, is CooCoo. Whenever I get a sleepy bug out of the corner of his eyelid, he wants to hold it. He always calls it a Lady Bug, and I remind him its a sleepy bug. Well, I just pulled one out of his eye, and held it out on the tip of my finger and asked him if he wanted to hold it. He went to grab it, and it fell and was lost. Well, he proceeds to panic and cry and throw a little fit. Then he heads in his room and closes the door. I said, "Ryker, what are you doing?" And thru the monitor I hear him say, "I'm sleeping, cause I need a lady bug." So, there you have it. If you lose your sleepy bug that you wanted to hold, you can make a new one, by going and taking a nap.
