So the poll closed with 4 Yes to 6 No. Thank you all for your input on getting Kate's ears pierced. I think that even tho I said the sentimental part of getting her ears pierced was not going to influence my decision, many of you said that is why you wouldn't get them pierced, cause you would want to do it with your daughter when they were older as a special "memory" to create with them. While that was great and all and I understand that people do that, I was actually wanting to see peoples opinion on just getting them pierced so young-will they get infected too much-will the girl pull on them and rip her ears-will she get the earings lose and swallow them-that was more of the "no" reasons I was looking for...but I DIDN'T GET ANY OF THOSE! :) I was very surprised. So of all the reasons you think I shouldn't pierce them, the main one was just for sentimentality reasons. So that does make me feel better about getting them pierced! :) Thanks for all your thoughts and input. Oh and Ali, how you said you would be worried about if when she grew up they would be crooked, I totally thought of that same thing! haha
