Michelle Kimberly Lewis

My little sister, Heather, had her baby girl on October 14th! She was born 5 weeks early. She has a birth defect, which I don't remember the name right now, but it is where her intestines are outside her tummy. So she is currently at Primary Childrens Hospital in the NICU. I got to go see her on the 15th, and she is the sweetest thing EVER! It made me sooo baby hungry. It is hard to see an infant so little and helpless, and have to deal with any sort of problem. There is no exact time line to how long she will stay in the NICU, but it will be awhile for sure. My sister seems to be doing ok, it hasn't exactly hit her yet that she has a baby, and it is hard for her to not be able to hold Michelle at all. My heart goes out to her a million times over, and every other parent who goes through this. But she is one of the toughest people I know and has been through a lot in her life that has only made her stronger. She will get through and I pray for her and a for a speedy recovery for Michelle. These pictures are a little dark now that they are downloaded to my computer, cause I didn't use a flash cause it would make Michelle's monitors beep. :) And trust me, the pictures don't do Michelle justice, she seems so different in real life. She is beautiful Heather! Congratulations!

Michelle Kimberly 5lb. 5oz. 17 3/4 inches long. Born at 10:10 p.m. Oct 14th.

Here's to 5 years and counting...

Russ and I have been married for 5 years!! Wow, seriously, where did the time go? Our actual anniversary was yesterday, October 15th, but we celebrated on Monday because Russ had school Wednesday. Russ' parents watched the kids for us (THANK YOU!!) so we could go enjoy a nice evening out. We decided to go see Body Worlds at The Leonardo downtown in Salt Lake first. It was REALLY REALLY neat. And just an fyi, if you smoke, or know someone who does, go to Body Worlds. There is just something about seeing ACTUAL HUMAN LUNGS of a smoker up close, that would make you quit that very instant, or never start...I mean, I've seen pictures before, but its nothing like seeing it up close. On another note... Then, we went over to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for some fine dining at The Roof. It was a first for both of us to eat at The Roof. It was pretty good, and of course, the desert bar was FAB. My mouth is watering just thinking of the chocolate moose. Here are some pictures we took...and I just am NOT photogenic...at all...

Us about to leave the house...I got this dress for $17 :)

Me standing in front of Body Worlds. Sorry, no cameras were allowed inside. But you can see some pics here on their website.

Our view from our table, not the best picture ever, but you can't really ask the waiter to keep doing re-takes cause you don't look so good :) But oh well..

Target

How much do I love Target? A lot. How cute are their kids clothes? Very. How much do I want one in Logan? Die for it. :) Ok, maybe not die for it...I got this cute jacket/vest/hoodie for Kate at Target a couple months ago and have been waiting patiently for it to finally fit her. I love it. And I love her. And I love her in it. :)
