8 Months

Well, it only took 8 months, but finally Ryker is interested in his little sister. It has been really fun to see them interact these last two weeks. Ryker is always trying to get her to smile by doing silly things, and he always talks to her in a little baby voice. At night (they share a room) they keep each other up "talking". Kate will make a noise and Ryker will laugh and laugh and then say, "AGAIN KATE! AGAIN!" until she finally makes another noise. She thinks its great that she can make him laugh too. It makes me excited for the next year to be able to see how much their friendship will grow as Kate starts being able to do more things. Having two kids is a great blessing. I am thankful to be their mother.

This is Ryker on our way to Sunnyside a few weeks ago when we stopped at a gas station in Burley Idaho. He loved to turn it over and over and over.

This is Kate, today, in her new dress I just finished making. A big shout out to my mother-in-law, Brenda, without her, this dress wouldn't have turned out. I don't have much experience following patterns, so I asked her about a bazillion questions. I am embarrased to say that I was following the "key" when I started making the dress, instead of the actual instructions that refer back to the key. OOPS. :) I am lucky it didn't mess me up to much. And next time, I will be a little smarter....

Pictures from my phone...

These are just some random phone pictures I wanted to post.

I love this face she is pulling.

Cute sunglasses!

Uncle Jer gave us this binky when Ryker was 1, so he was too old for it. So I tried it out on Kate. Love it. :)

Ryker was such a little butterball. I can't believe he was ever this small!
