Kate 2 Months

Kate had her two month doctor appointment yesterday. She screamed when she got the shots, but who doesn't right :). She wieghed 10 lbs. 11 oz. (Too compare, Ryker wieghed 12 lbs. 9 oz. at two months.) Big difference. She is 50th percentile for all her measurments.

Ryker with his new boxer briefs. He is on again off again with his potty training. We started training him when Kate was only a month old cause he was showing no signs of jealousy-then after two weeks of training he did good for about a week-then he started getting jealous of Kate, and he totally regressed with the potty training. Sooo..we backed off for awhile. Then out of no where, at a restaurant no less, last night...he told us he needed to go "pee-pee on the potty"...Russ took him and his diaper was dry and when we got home from dinner his diaper was still dry so we let him wear his big boys undies for the rest of the night. But now today he hasn't been doing so well at staying dry, but wants to wear his "undies". At bed time he wants his undies over his nightime diaper too. Wierdo! But cute! :) What an adventure potty training is for parents!

Ryker and Dads snowcave!

Russ decided to dig a snowcave out of the pile of snow that is at the end of the driveway from all the snowplowing. Ryker had so much fun climbing on the hill and playing in the hut. His face was cold and red when he came back inside, but he didn't care, he wanted to stay out there all day!

Kate's Blessing

Some people have wanted me to post some pictures of Kate on her blessing day. Here they are!

I would like to say the day went smoothly...but I wouldn't want to lie. :) There was a HUGE snow storm that day (big enough to cancel church all over Salt Lake). We woke up early (church was at 1) and contemplated canceling the blessing. But, all of Russ' family was already going to be passing through Logan that day for one reason or another, and any other weekend would have been a little more challenging for them to make it. My family on the other hand basically all lives down in Salt Lake, where the storm was even worse. Needless to say they all decided not to try and travel that day. It was a hard decision but we decided to do the blessing that day anyway. I did have one of my brothers there along with his wife who live in Hyrum, so I wasn't completely without my family. Besides not having most of my family there with us, it also made for an interesting luncheon afterwards, seeing as my parents were going to provide the main course. Somehow we improvised as best we could so we didn't all go hungry! But all in all the day was good, a great blessing, great family and friends to support us, and a great memory we can tell Kate about one day!

Kate

Just thought I would let you all know how proud I am of my little Kate. The last FOUR nights in a row she has gone 7-8 hours between feedings. YEAH KATE! Keep it up!
