Kate's First Birthday

So I know, I know, this is a little late. Kate had her first birthday December 20th. This post has a lot lot lot of pictures, but that's fun right? We decided to go with a Tinkerbell theme, and keep the party pretty small. We had us and Russ' parents over for a little cake, ice cream, and presents. It was a lot of fun to celebrate her being with our family for one year now, and we can't imagine what life was like without her! Happy Birthday Katie Bug!

Our little birthday girl!

Opening presents

I got this walker the day after Thanksgiving, hoping she would love to push it around as much as our laundry baskets and encourage her to keep taking those steps, but a few days before her birthday she started taking off walking on her own. Oh well, its still fun to play with...

YUMMY!

She needed a little encouragement to get going...so grandpa helped her out!

She ate it all!

Don't know if you can tell, but its all in her hair (a tradition she keeps to this day with any meal she eats, she LOVES to rub everything in her hair like she's making herself beautiful, she needs three baths a day to stay looking clean)

A week before her birthday my parents came up to visit and give her some presents.

My little baby girl is 1... *sigh*

I'm so lazy...

I have about 15 blogs I need to write, but since I'm 15 behind, I don't ever want to start them. :) BUT I finally got all the pictures downloaded to my computer, which is the main reason I don't blog often cause I'm too lazy to download the pictures and organize them...so maybe now that they are on the computer I might blog a few times..:) Ugh...so I was going to post a picture of our house that some people have been waiting to see..but apparently I didn't download that ONE picture out of all the ones I did. Just my day. Ok here is a little blog about Rykerman. Some of you may know, that he is OBSESSED with outlets, and lights, and a bazillion other things. When we took down our Christmas tree of course he was right there helping.

This is my handsome man that is obsessed with outlets.

This is what Ryker did when he saw all the lights laying on the ground before we could get them wrapped up and put away...Guess we need to introduce him to a surge protector?
